He is working as FAO consultant part of the team getting the Bay of Bengal Large Marine Ecosystem Project (BOBLME) Strategic Action Programme (SAP) signed by countries and the Programme Framework Document endorsed by the countries, supporting the project management and coordination of the FAO GEF project “Strategies for Trawl Fisheries By catch management” (REBYC II CTI) involving 5 South East Asian and Coral Triangle Initiative countries, Worked as National Project Coordinator for FAO of the United Nations for the project Fisheries Management for Sustainable Livelihoods(FIMSUL),Chennai, Worked in National level NGO (Action for Food Production-AFPRO) as Fisheries Specialist, National level Fisheries Specialist and Unit Manager on integrated NRM and livelihoods development especially Fisheries livelihoods Development and 4 years in Government (Marine Products Export Development Authority and MATSYAFED)
